Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Adam Custins first picked up a camera with intent at fifteen.

After dropping out of Auckland University (reading Economics, Literature, and Psychology), he opened his first studio at the age of nineteen. In 1993 he took a six month period of photographic studies at Brooks Institute, USA.

Adam shoots fashion, people and what ever else takes his interest.
